The cats meet annually for the Jellicle Ball
Design notes: I located the ball in a prohibition era nightclub - a place where good meets bad and rich meet poor. It's a human environment but designed for cats - a cats playground, to be climbed on.
The bar doubles as the boat and train and, at the end, Grizabella makes her way to the Heavyside layer via a staircase behind the gauze back wall.
